Description:

  • It is important during this exercise to maintain control and symmetry to minimise injury risk.
  • With the aid of a partner to anchor your feet, lie face down on a bench as shown
  • Ensure your hips are on the edge of the bench and do interfere with the position of your torso
  • Hold your torso ‘parallel to the floor’ in the position for the required period.
  • Do not over extend by attempting to go beyond parallel.
